Internal Medicine

Internal Medicine

Our physicians performing procedures which  aid in diagnosis & treatment  of various illnesses.

24×7 availability of the medicines required for a critical patient.

In the veterinary profession, internal medicine is the trickiest, best described as working on a jigsaw puzzle. To create a complete picture of your pet’s health, our internists collect and match the many pieces of information they can glean from the patient’s history, clinical signs, lab results, imaging studies, and specialized testing to create a workable diagnosis.

Happy Tails has trained its doctors to efficiently diagnose severe, chronic illnesses and complicated conditions which may involve several disease processes. They treat conditions involving blood and circulatory system, endocrine system, gastrointestinal tract, the heart, kidneys, bladder, reproductive organs and respiratory tract.

ULTRASOUND

Ultrasound allows the visualization of body organs and systems like the liver, gall bladder, spleen, kidney, pancreas and bladder.

ENDOSCOPY

Endoscopy allows us to examine and collect biopsy specimens from lungs, stomach, small intestine, colon and nose. In addition, foreign objects your pet has swallowed frequently can be retrieved by endoscopy, making surgery unnecessary.

X-Ray

X-ray is useful in visualizing the bony structures of the body and aids in identifying problems or lesions in the chest and abdominal cavity.
